They're getting married on a boat.
How much fun is that? Come July, Amanda and Matthew will make their vows surrounded by family and friends on the MV Skansonia, a retired Washington State Ferry. Epic party to follow.
We were instantly impressed and inspired by A+M's goofy, comfortable way of being with each other. Plus, you've just got to love her smile!
The four of us got to poke around The Center for Wooden Boats and wander South Lake Union Park on what turned out to be a gorgeous Seattle day.
Thanks for such a fun engagement session, A+M. We can't wait for your wedding this summer!
February 15th dawned gray and wet. Spirits were high, however, as Drew and I arrived to begin coverage of Rebecca and Sean's beautiful Seattle wedding. They started their day by getting ready surrounded by loved ones at The Westin on 5th Ave. Later on, they headed down to the super classy Palace Ballroom to exchange vows and celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
Despite the rain, R + S remained positive, and even stuck with our plan to take photos at Pike's Place. As we set out for the photo session, it began to pour. However, by making good use of the rain and a cleverly wielded umbrella, we were able to create some beautiful portraits.
R + S, it was an honor and privilege to photograph your wedding, and we wish you a lifetime full of happiness and love!
