We spent an incredible weekend up in Forks with a couple dear friends. No, we did not go for the vampires. We went for the gorgeous views and perfect weather, and were not disappointed. At just four and a half weeks, baby L rocked her first camping trip! She's already becoming our adventurous little spirit.
We rounded out the weekend with a quick trip to Rialto Beach. It was windy, cold, and moody... just the way us Washingtonians love it.
Okay, not to pull a Jerry McGuire or anything, but Anna and Matt complete each other. There's really not other way to put it. That they simply adore one another is abundantly clear.
These two lovebirds were visiting our fair city from San Diego (just north of where Drew and I used to live), and we wanted them to see Seattle in all its green, woodsy glory. We decided to shoot at Discovery Park, and despite the rain (or perhaps because of it), we had a wonderful time. The sun broke halfway through the session, and we were able to capture a fun variety of images.
February 15th dawned gray and wet. Spirits were high, however, as Drew and I arrived to begin coverage of Rebecca and Sean's beautiful Seattle wedding. They started their day by getting ready surrounded by loved ones at The Westin on 5th Ave. Later on, they headed down to the super classy Palace Ballroom to exchange vows and celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
Despite the rain, R + S remained positive, and even stuck with our plan to take photos at Pike's Place. As we set out for the photo session, it began to pour. However, by making good use of the rain and a cleverly wielded umbrella, we were able to create some beautiful portraits.
