What a beautiful day. Cadence + Rob and their families are simply magical together. Despite the heavy rain, rain, rain, we made the best of it, crammed into a gorgeous old church, hiding from the weather. We managed to pop out for a few moments, and capture some of my favourite images to date.

Our plans were set, weather be damned. Caitlin, Jon and I set out to explore the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, come wind, rain, or whatever else the Northwest decided to throw at us. These two kept their spirits up, and followed patiently as I scrambled over rocks, over train tracks, and up mountains.

Some love needs flowery words, poetic verse to describe it in detail. Cadence and Rob, their love just shines through every pore. There is no missing the beauty of what these two and their beautiful family have together. Their reception alone, with toasts coming in from so many of their guests, was one of the most emotional, moving celebrations I've ever had the privilege to capture.
Here's to a life filled, not with perfection, but with a deep, soul-stirring commitment to one another.
