One of the highlights of 2016 for me was getting to second shoot more than I have in years. With a very busy toddler at home, second shooting with other talented photographers was my go to move. It provided a much needed, less stressful way to still ply my craft and focus on my kid. Win, win, I'd say. I'm back to booking at full capacity for 2017, so bring on those inquiries!
The best part of second shooting is getting to focus on faces. Sure, wedding photography is mostly about focusing on faces, but as a second photographer, I feel my main goal is to capture an alternate viewpoint, including portraits of those celebrating with the couple.
