I was honored and thrilled when K approached me with the idea of shooting a "gender reveal" photo session. I know, I know, the paint, the balloons, the cute little cupcakey confetti goodness is so hip right now. While all of those would be fun to photograph-- K came up with an even better idea to announce the gender of her little one. Best of all, it included her son, whom I have been photographing since he was 3 months old. Watching O come out of his shell and have a blast during our session warmed my heart, and made for some pretty awesome images.
One week later, after raking, plucking, picking and vacuuming, the yard still looks like a velociraptor-sized chicken exploded. Totally worth it.
