As any of us in the pacific northwest know, Easter weather is always a gamble. Growing up here, I remember some years involving thunder, lighting and rain, while others were mild and springlike. One year a while back, I'm pretty sure it snowed.
This year, we were blessed with a gorgeous spring day. We invited our loved ones over, tossed some camp chairs out on the lawn, cooked up some delicious food, and had ourselves a good ol' time.
Drew and I also broke out our old film cameras (yes, yes, insert some faltering hipster joke here), and rediscovered the beauty of taking time for every shot, carefully considering the light, the elements, the timing. Once we get our scans back, we'll be excited to share what we captured!
