A couple weeks back, my mom and I took a "girl's weekend" to visit family up in Vancouver, B.C. What ensued was one of the most relaxing, peaceful weekends I've had in quite some time (perhaps because I was almost entirely disconnected from technology). It was wonderful to reconnect with my nana and aunt, both of whom are avid gardeners, and who's spring gardens were bursting at the seams.
